On the other hand, you may be a frugal bride-to-be, who could pay the higher prices, but sees absolutely no need to and would prefer to spend their money on other, more important things. Maybe you have your wedding dress already, but are looking for something simple and inexpensive for a reception dress. Or you could be looking to shop sustainably and support a small business or charity. If you can relate to any of the above, then this is the place for you!
A wedding dress can be insanely expensive for the one day that you’ll wear it, but there are alternatives! You can look and feel your best for the most important day of your life and not break the bank doing it! I will give you leads for beautiful, affordable bridal wear from reputable retailers. Some will be from places you might not expect!
Brides on a Smaller Budget
Wedding dresses you’ll see here will generally cost less than $1,000, but most will be $500 or less, or $100 or less. Be sure to consider alterations and accessories, which could easily add hundreds of dollars more to the final cost if you don’t take this into consideration. Simple dresses, with fewer embellishments, tend to cost less to alter, so research, plan, and adjust your expectations accordingly. Sewing a bustle in or altering intricate fabric such as lace appliques can work out expensive.
Retailers
