Wedding dresses you’ll read about here will generally cost less than $1,500 but most will be $500 or less, or $100 or less. Don’t forget about the alterations and accessories, which could easily add hundreds of dollars more to the final cost if you don’t budget correctly. Simple dresses, with fewer embellishments, tend to cost less to alter so please budget and adjust your expectations accordingly. Sewing a bustle in or altering intricate fabric such as lace appliques, can work out expensive.
