While browsing on Amazon today, like I do most days (small-town living, Prime member), I fell down the rabbit hole of looking at their wedding dress offerings. There has to be hundreds of different bridal dresses on there! Not all, of course, are officially called wedding dresses, some are labeled prom gowns, evening dresses, etc. So many of them though, have a very bridal feel for a fraction of the cost that you might pay elsewhere. Buying a wedding dress on Amazon can save you time, be super convenient, and give you great value for your money. Take the time to research the site carefully for the best results.
Bridal Brands
One thing that you have to remember about Amazon is that many different brands sell their products under their umbrella. You’ll need to carefully read all individual product information, as one brand can have very different terms and conditions from the next.
Look for gowns that have many reviews. I always try to buy products with at least 100 reviews that have an 80% plus approval rating of 4 or 5 stars. This has never led me wrong so far in all my years of being an Amazon shopper. Well maybe a couple of clunkers, but no one’s perfect.

Reviews with customer photos are great to have on any shopping platform but especially on Amazon. Often the product photos posted by the seller don’t always give the full picture of what something looks like in real life.

With so many different brands on Amazon, look to see if the brand that you’re interested in has its own sizing guide. Follow it to save time, money, and fuss. The need to send it back or spend money on alterations will be decreased. Don’t assume it will be the same as the standard Amazon sizing chart. I’ve also seen plenty of plus size wedding dresses for purchase, so women of all sizes should be able to find a pretty gown!
